Here’s a quick post to show you how smoothly my day went today. I posted this on my personal fb page and decided it was definitely blog worthy. I love homeschooling so much, but days like today I tend to love naps and solitary confinement better 🙂 Tomorrow is a new day, right?
“Kid can’t write a number 3 on paper to save her life,so Mom tells kids to go find magnadoodle so the kid can practice her number writing without wasting paper. Mom tells everyone that it’s in the toybox in kids room. Kids and husband look for said magnadoodle for at LEAST an hour. Mom finally gets fed up and goes to look herself. Mom finds magnadoodle within 15 seconds of looking. Magnadoodle was in kids toybox just where mom said it would be. So kid sits down, and writes the number three beautifully the first time, and fills the entire magnadoodle with beautiful number 3s. Moms pulls the paper back out and tells kid to write them on paper just like she wrote them on the magnadoodle. Kid still can’t write the number three on a piece of paper. Mom realizes the past hour or so of her life was a complete waste and strongly considers taking up drinking as a hobby.”
Hope your day is going a little smoother than mine!
