Happy Monday, once again folks! As I write this I’m currently sucking down my coffee (complete with my salted caramel mocha creamer which is heaven) and repeating to myself, “It will all be worth it once the kids go to bed”.
Why do I say that? Well, it’s Halloween and you know what that means for us parents. I’m so raiding the candy jar as soon as the kids go to bed! Until then, coffee will be my best friend.
We had some fantastic homeschool resources last week here at the Homeschool Nook Link Up Party and I know this week will be fabulous as well!
Last Week in Our Homeschool
We didn’t really do too much last week that was all that exciting, so there aren’t many pictures to share. I did, however, get a chance to introduce the girls to Schoolhouse Rock’s “I’m Just a Bill”. Lil’ Sis loved it so much she now requests to watch it daily.
We’ve been working on this awesome election lap book called “Government and Election Process” (by A Journey Through Learning) this week as we gear up for the big Presidential election coming up. The girls have been having a blast putting it together, and I’m loving that they’re learning all of this knowledge and really grasping how the election process and government really works. I can’t wait to tell you what else we’re doing to learn about the election, but I’ll save that for a future post!
Lil Sis’ also worked on some of her Life of Fred craft ideas from Busy Boy’s Brigade’s Additional Activities Packet for the “Apples” book. This was supposed to be a sailboat made entirely out of triangles. I’m not sure how, but she totally see’s it, so that’s all that matters.

In Other News…
I announced last week in an email, and on my facebook page, that changes will be coming here to Chaotic Bliss!
Basically, I want to expand my blog to cover other topics, such as how I survive my chaos with anxiety, my love of traveling, random product reviews, photography projects, and anything else that brings me joy just because I want to.
There’s so much about this chaotic life of mine that makes me happy, and I want to share all of that with you as well! Of course, I’ll still be posting a lot about homeschooling, but look for new topics to be coming to the blog in the very near future.
Also, the blog will be getting a new name! I’ll send an email when the changes are in effect so that you don’t feel lost when you

Do You Love Lapbooks?
I’m becoming a lapbook junkie! My kids love having a fun project to put together, and I love that I can teach them a variety of subjects in a fun way that isn’t too messy and cluttered! That is why I love A Journey Through Learning’s lapbooks so much!
I teach my kids in bite-size lessons that are perfect for their limited attention span, and saves my nerves because it isn’t too messy! It’s the perfect amount of hands-on work for both of us!
Check out their lapbooks by clicking on the banner below. You’ll be so glad that you did!
