Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all have had a fantastic weekend as you prepare for the upcoming holiday. I know this time of year can be stressful for many, and when trying to homeschool on top of it all, the chaos of the season can begin to take its toll.
May your coffee be strong today and may the links shared on this weeks edition of the Homeschool Nook Link Up Party give you inspiration to get through your week.
Last Week in Our Homeschool
I’ve been sick, or feeling blah trying to fight off a sickness, for about two weeks now. It finally caught up to me and I’ve been a zombie with zero energy all week. That being said there isn’t much to report from the last week in our homeschool.
We did start to read a new book called The Witch of Blackbird Pond. So far the girls really seem to like it. I also introduced my girls to Anne of Green Gables and we decided we will be reading that after Christmas as a read aloud as well.
The girls love to color in the adult coloring books I bought for them while I read. They’re not good at sitting still and listening, so it’s nice to have something for them to keep busy with as they listen.
In Case You Missed it
Last week here at Chaotic Bliss, I shared about a new game we’ve started playing in our homeschool that introduces our girls to the periodic table of elements. We’ve had a lot of fun so far, and if your kids are anything like mine they may like this game too.
A bunch of bloggers also stopped by last week to share their free printables on the Friday Printables Link Up Party, so if you missed it make sure you go check out the great posts that were shared too.

Do You Love Lapbooks?
I’m becoming a lapbook junkie! My kids love having a fun project to put together, and I love that I can teach them a variety of subjects in a fun way that isn’t too messy and cluttered! That is why I love A Journey Through Learning’s lapbooks so much!
I teach my kids in bite-size lessons that are perfect for their limited attention span, and saves my nerves because it isn’t too messy! It’s the perfect amount of hands-on work for both of us!
Check out their lapbooks by clicking on the banner below. You’ll be so glad that you did!
