My legal name is Jeanetta, but most of my close friends and family call me Jenn. I am 32 years old, born and raised south of St. Louis, Missouri.
I am happily married to my hockey (go Blues!) and Star Wars obsessed husband, whom I lovingly refer to as the “hubsterdude”, and together we have three beautiful daughters: “Moe” (age 10), “KK” (age 9) and “Lil Sis” (age 6).
I’m fueled by coffee, sweet tea, and late night TV binging. I absolutely love art and anything that comes along with exercising my creativity, whether it be through mixed media art, journaling, photography, or whatever else I find myself getting into at the time.
I also love to go to concerts and dance like no one else is watching. To me, there is nothing that brings more happiness than screaming at the top of my lungs, dancing like crazy with my best friends, while watching my favorite musician(s) rock out live on stage.
Have you heard of those hot-mess moms? Well, I’m one of them. I live in yoga pants and messy buns, and I’m chronically late to everything.
I’m also one of those people who likes to keep things real. My biggest pet peeves are when people are disrespectful and deceiving so with me what you see is what you get. I strive to get along with everyone, but will not hesitate to drop truth bombs when necessary.
I battle an extreme anxiety disorder, which definitely keeps life interesting around here most days. (You read about how I keep sane while homeschooling with anxiety here.) Since a major anxiety trigger for me is drama, I check it at the door immediately. Aint nobody got time for that!
My family and I travel every chance we get, even if it’s only a long day-trip or an overnight stay just a few hours away. We love to see new places and soak up the memories we make while bonding as a family over the road.
This life I live is full of love and a whole lot of chaos, but to me that chaos is bliss and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
